Software Maintenance, Inc (SMI) is a Pennsylvania Corporation founded in 1984. Our mission statement is simple; if we don't take care of our customers, someone else will. We are driven to provide unparalleled service. If you are shopping price, we will not be a good match. If you are shopping service, you have come to the right place. We provide unlimited phone support (24/7) to all of our clients. We treat our customers the same way we would like to be treated. We are solution driven; we will not waste your time with endless apologies.
SMI specializes in providing computer systems to a wide variety of clients, from the business person with mobility issues to the retired disabled Veteran with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Our past and continuing work with the New Jersey Department of Rehabilitation, the Veteran's Affairs Office, and private industry have given use a unique understanding and appreciation of those cognitive and mobility issues that can make computer usage and training more of a challenge.
All training is performed by me and our crackerjack training staff. I alone provide phone support. With over 200 clients I have yet to be overwhelmed. This is because of the excellent one on one training we provide at your location, the written materials we leave behind, and the software suite we install on every computer. I urge every client to call me with any question. I would much rather take five minutes on the phone now, than have the client's blood pressure go up as they struggle with a problem (and invariably make it worse). Our support software allows us to connect directly into your computer. This allows us to see exactly what you are seeing, so that we can work the problem as you watch.
We are now branching out to offer our services to the retired and semi-retired individual of any age. We also offer our services to adult children who do not wish to engage in the task of training and supporting their parent's computer.

Training:
We can provide computer training either on-site or remotely. Training cost on-site is $100 per hour, remote training is $65 per hour.
Support:
We offer a 3 year unlimited phone support package for $375. This includes unlimited phone support 24/7 (excepting SMI holidays) and unlimited remote connection to your computer. Phone support is
Additional Costs:
Before we can begin I must inspect your computer and make sure that it is clean and free of virus, worms, and other harmful software. The cost for this inspection/correction is billable at $100 per on-site hour. I maybe able to perform this work remotelly from my office, in which case the cost is $65 per hour.
Once your system in clean I will install Rollback Rx Pro Disaster Recovery Software. The cost of this software is $125.
You must purchase a copy of Norton Internet Security Suite 2010 or other approved security suite.
The Fine Print:
You must contact me within 6 days of a computer problem in order to utilize the Rollback Rx Pro software. Your failure to contact me within that time frame may mean that we have to restore your computer back to the installation snapshot. You will be responsible for removing any important files in this situation.
